Lander Sims is currently working as an Assistant Language Teacher in the town of Tomiai, on the island of Kyushu in Japan.

Lander graduated from Northern Arizona University in the spring of 2007 with a B.A. in Anthropology and a Minor in Japanese.  His focus was on anticipatory anthropology, regarding technological advacement and it’s role in global social communication.

He enjoys the smell of a freshly opened can of tennis balls, bands that play with a horn section, and likes it when people raise one eyebrow to convey bewilderment.

He doesn’t like riding his bike through clouds of gnats, wet cigarrettes, or losing bookmarks in the folds of his bedsheets.
